You Provide the Caption #4

After a couple of days of some super scary topic blogging, were back to Wednesday, which as everyone knows is "You Provide the Caption" day. (Waiting for applause to settle down). This weeks instalment includes a bonus image and our theme is
"When Animals Attack"

You have your choice of pictures to caption. You can choose one or both. Again the ROSCOE will be awarded to the best caption as judged by - well - me.

Good luck and have fun.

Tom, my I make a request unrelated to this post? On page 252 Dan Kimball lists 6 perceptions that the emerging generations has of the church. Would you list those 6 here in the comments section? I will get the book one day but read about this in another blog and wanted to see it right away. Thanks.

Bob. The six things Dan lists on page 252 are as follows:
1. The church is an organized religion with a political agenda.
2. The church is judgmental and negative.
3. The church is dominated by males and oppresses females.
4. The church is homophobic.
5. The church arrogantly claims all other religions are wrong.
6. The church is full of fundamentalists who take the whole Bible literally.

Dan suggest the following perceptions the church should foster (they correspond to the above listed perceptions)
1. The church is an organized community with a heart to serve others
2. The church is a positive agent of change loving others as Jesus would.
3. The church holds women in the highest respect and includes them in the leadership of the church.
4. The church is a loving and welcoming community.
5. The church is respectful of other people's beliefs and faiths.
6. The church holds beliefs with humility and strives to be thoughtful theologians.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope all is well for you and Pat. BTW, Dawn and I took the kids down to Kirby’s Mill and went for a canoe trip upstream toward Medford. We didn’t fish, but it was a very nice day to be out on the water.

Tom,

Glad to have found your blog. Here are my entries:

A: "That's right... using only her lips, Petunia has balanced herself perfectly on this baby's head... and the child is completely unharmed!"

B: "Tigers. Tigers? I'm telling you... there's not a tiger within miles of this place."
